Georgia Senate Study Committee Formed to Make Georgia the No. 1 State for Tourism!

Lt. Governor Burt Jones appointed five Senators to the newly established Senate Study Committee on Making Georgia the No. 1 State for Tourism, with a clear mission:

Identify opportunities to enhance Georgia’s tourism industry and ultimately make our state the top tourist destination in the country.

Senator Drew Echols (R–Gainesville) will serve as Chairman, joined by:Sen. Sonya Halpern (D–Atlanta), Sen. Frank Ginn (R–Danielsville), Sen. Russ Goodman (R–Cogdell) & Sen. Emanuel Jones (D–Decatur).

This bipartisan committee will explore ways to promote tourism growth across all regions of Georgia, supporting jobs, economic development, and community vitality statewide.
