Partner Relations Manager, Visit Henry County

Visit Henry County, Georgia (VHCG) is the tourism promotion arm of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. VHCG is seeking an outgoing individual to build relationships with VHCG’s tourism partners. The partner relations manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the VHCG stakeholders, developing, and implementing training and educational programing and assisting the Visitors Service Manager with the operations of the VHCG Mobile Visitors Center. Visitors Services Manager, Visit Henry County 

Visit Henry County, Georgia (VHCG) is the tourism promotion arm of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, charged with marketing the cities of Stockbridge, Hampton and Locust Grove and the unincorporated parts of Henry County. In January of 2023, VHCG launched a mobile visitors center to welcome guests to Henry County and provide them with local information. Economic Development Team Member

This position is located with the Georgia Center for Workforce and Economic Resilience and works with state agencies, local governments, development authorities, regional commissions, and other similar organizations to provide applied research and technical assistance focused on economic development and related topics. The main role of this economic development position is to develop and lead technical assistance and applied research projects for state and local government partners. This position will serve as an educational resource for economic development strategy information and best practices in Georgia. The position involves consulting with local government and state government officials; conducting analyses; facilitating planning and public engagement sessions; developing reports; and preparing monographs, reports, datasets, webinars, and other presentations that address practitioner/policymaker needs, with an emphasis on economic development.  E-Mobility Engagement Lead

This position is a leadership position within the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and part of UGA’s overall E-mobility Initiative. This would be great opportunity for the right person to come in and build a team and program around ways that CVIOG and UGA can continue to assist the state and local communities on all things e-mobility (e.g., economic development, workforce development, community development, infrastructure, etc.).  We are looking for someone who can be out in the state, participating in these important conversations, and then connect our resources in a way that can truly inform decision-making (both on the state and local levels).
