GACVB could not accomplish our goals without the help of our committees! Our members volunteer to serve on these committees, and are able to contribute by using their own skills, gifts, and expertise.

ADVOCACY
    
The Advocacy Committee develops the annual policy platform, participates in the annual Tourism Day at the Capitol event, evaluates legislative affairs, and works to solve specific issues potentially affecting tourism.

AWARDS

The Awards Committee is responsible for coordinating the Georgia Tourism Excellence Awards, which are presented at GACVB’s Annual Conference. The Awards Committee develops the award categories and nomination process, and secure judges to screen applicants.

CONTENT

The Content Committee determines relevant content at GACVB Annual Conference and Georgia Group Sales Symposium. They also research and evaluate other professional development opportunities.

FUNDRAISING

 

The Fundraising Committee plans fundraising activities, including conference auctions, to support education programs. They also help determine annual GACVB scholarships by reviewing applications.

MEMBERSHIP 

   

 The Membership Committee welcomes new members and conducts first time attendee orientations at GACVB events. They also review member benefits, dues structure, and marketing efforts.

TECHNOLOGY
