Tourism, Hospitality & Arts Day at the Capitol

Please plan to join us in Atlanta January 23-24, 2017 for Tourism, Hospitality & Arts Day at the Capitol.

Join us for several events:  the educational programming at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Atlanta Magazine's Tourism Gala, the new State of Tourism Breakfast, and events at the Georgia State Capitol Building to celebrate tourism's impact in our state.

The new breakfast event will highlight tourism’s impact in the state and add to the slate of Tourism Day at the Capitol programming.

Following breakfast, tourism partners are invited to the Georgia State Capitol to network with legislators, support formal resolutions in the House and Senate, and celebrate with some of the most emblematic characters from Georgia’s tourism attractions.

We all know what a difference an investment in travel and tourism can do to improve the quality of life for all Georgia residents. Our industry has a total economic impact of more than $59 billion, supporting more than 439,000 jobs statewide.  It is more important than ever that we build strong advocacy programs to showcase the important role of travel and tourism in our statewide economy.

The Georgia Travel Association is organizing the event this year and GACVB is proud to partner with them along with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association, the Georgia Restaurant Association, and others to showcase our industry.

Below is the schedule of events - don't forget to register for the events you plan to attend.
